Hand – Writing  Competition  -  I & II

Students aim to cultivate good penmanship skills from a young age. Through this initiative, students will be encouraged to take pride in their hand-writing, fostering a sense of accomplishment and self-confidence. The competition provides a platform for students to showcase their creativity and neatness while practicing writing skills. Overall hand-writing competition serves as a fun and educational activity.

The best 5 hand-writings from each section were selected for judgement.

Congratulations to all the participants. It was a success.

Drawing Competition - III, IV, V

The Drawing competition for classes III, IV & V aims to nuture creativity and artistic expression among young students. Providing a platform for the participants to showcase their artistic talents. The competition encourages imagination and originality. Through the acts of drawing, students develop fine ability of motor skills and visual perception.

A classwise theme based on individual participation was conducted on Saturday, 20th April 2024.

Class III        -          ‘Summer Time’  (Beat the heat)

Class IV        -          Summer Beach Scenery

Class V         -          ‘Vibes of Summer’  -  Poster making competition.

Throughout the competition, students displayed remarkable artistic skills. The best 5 drawings from each section were selected for judgement.

Summer Camp

Summer Camp offers an enriching and fun-filled experience for young leaners. Designed to provide a balance of educational and recreational  activities.

A ten-day summer camp was organized in the school from 8th May 2024 to 18th May 2024.

Activities for classes I to V included dance, calligraphy, yoga, aerobics, Zumba, art & craft, phonetics, music, fireless cooking and skating.

Free adventure camp activities included zorb fight, knock down jump, bull ride, horse ride, camel ride, trampoline jump, mickey mouse jumping and jolly ride. Under the guidance of teachers and a few experts, students engaged themselves in a meaningful learning and experiences in a safe and nurturing environment. Refreshments were provided to all the participants.

The camp was a great success. It enabled the children to develop confidence, independence, social skills and physical fitness. Those who participated in the summer camp were given a certificate of participation to acknowledge and encourage them.

As the Primary section – Investiture ceremony dawned, the air buzzed with anticipation and excitement. Young hearts beat with the thrill of responsibility and opportunity. Amidst the colourful decorations, students eagerly awaited the moment when they would get their badges and sashes.

                The ceremony commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by our Principal Rev. Fr. Martin Anto, Vice Principal, Sr. In charge, Head Boy and Head Girl symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and leadership. Followed by a prayer by our Sr. In charge, Sr. Jacintha.

                The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the badges and sashes.

A momentous occasion where the student leaders were officially recognized for their dedication and potential. With solemn pledge, the students embraced their role with determination and pride, followed by individual speech of the Head Boy and the Head Girl.

The class monitors of classes I to V also took an oath towards their duties.

Fr. Principal addressed the gathering and congratulated the in charges and shared the ideas of a good leadership. He said – The leaders should lead by action not by speaking.

                The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by ma’am Neetu followed by singing of the School Anthem.

A vibrant group Recitation Competition for students of classes 1,2 & 3 was held on the 31st July, 2024. This event is designed to encourage teamwork and collaboration among our young learners.

By participating, students not only enhanced their memorization skills but also build confidence. We are incredibly proud of our students.

We are delighted to share the success of our recent Street Play Competition held on 3rd August 2024 featuring the talented students of classes IV  &  V.

The young performers captivated the audience with their dynamic acts. Their exceptional teamwork and dramatic skills made the event both entertaining and thought-provoking.

We are incredibly proud of our student for their dedication and commend their efforts in bringing important issues to the forefront through the powerful medium of street theatre.

Raksha Bandhan is a beautiful festival that celebrates the bond of love and protection between brothers and sisters.  In celebration of this festival, a Rakhi Making Competition was held for the students of classes I to V in their respective classrooms, providing a platform for young students to showcase their creativity. Each class had a unique theme for the competition, inspiring the students to explore different ideas and designs in their Rakhi creations.

After the completion of the competition, five standout Rakhis from every class were selected for judgement. These selected Rakhis were assessed based on creativity, design adherence to the theme and overall presentation, making the event a fun and enriching experience for the students.

     Gandhi and shastri Jayanti celebration & competition

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, a special assembly was held to honour the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. It began with the lighting of the lamp by our vice principal, Rev. Fr. Sijin Paul, Sr. In charge, Sr Jacintha and ma’am Preeti symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and spreading the knowledge and wisdom. Rev. Fr. Sijin then garland the portraits of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.

Following this a serene prayer was offered invoking peace and unity.  The Head Boy shared a few inspiring words on the lives of these great leaders emphasizing on Gandhiji’s principles of satyagraha and ahimsa as well as Shastriji’s leadership during challenging times, his slogan, “Jai Jawan. Jai Kisan”.

After the assembly, a drawing competition was organized for students of classes 4 and 5 with the theme ‘Swatch Bharat’. Children showcased their creativity by illustrating the importance of cleanliness and a green environment.
